YES! A little more action...not the way you're thinking, sicko! :) The business is about to take a gigantic upswing...I can feel it! This is excellent news! Especially since my boss/dad is getting ready to be out of commission for a few months. He is going to be going in for a liver transplant. It's scary as hell...but it really is the best thing for him. After going back and forth between different kinds of doctors (some saying don't do it, most saying do do it) he did make a decision to have the transplant. Aside from his liver he is a VERY healthy person. He eats all the right things, plays tennis for excercise and is all the way around still very active. This is very different than how most transplant recipients are at the time of their transplant. This is very good news for him! The hospital he is having his transplant is the #1 transplant unit in the country! Their success rate is 90% which is HUGE considering, as I said earlier, most people going in for a transplant are generally extremely sick and the transplant is their only option. We are extremely hopeful! It's now just a waiting game...he's gotten 2 calls...one saying he was #1 on the list for his bloodtype and then another saying he was down to #4. Well even #4 is a great place to be on such a long list. As of now, we are just waiting for that phone call. The business always picks up at the end of the year, which will definitely help his stress level and all of our stress levels knowing that things will be just fine while he is recovering! Any prayers and good thoughts are appreciated :)
